A new Duckbill product has emerged out of earlier research and engineering done on behalf of professional cameramen and women who carry all kinds of heavy and awkward camera gear. As anybody who has carried heavy and awkward optics on a trek into the woods or wetlands can attest, carrying a tripod slung on your back, or resting on your shoulder is never comfortable and functional at the same time.
The Duckbill Heavy Optics Carrier is a carrying system made for birders. So not only does it integrate comfort, stability and ease-of-access features, it also incorporates advantages like hand interchangeable purpose-specific modules designed to carry most small field craft tools, electronics, field guides, snacks, lenses, rain gear, etc. All of the modules you choose to wear can be integrated on this single ergonomic carrying platform – no need for additional and overlapping straps or pouches.
The Single Platform Optics Carrier (or, SPOC for short) is made of the finest water repellant, mold-resistant and chemical resistant materials and is double and triple-stitched for a long service life in the field.
Duckbill’s Single Platform Optics Carrier (SPOC) is easy to transport, store and clean and is available in black or khaki.
